M.Sc. students: the rules governing your degree depend on when you were admitted. Those admitted from Fall 2026 follow the department rules approved in January 2026; those admitted from session 2018-19 to Spring 2026 follow the faculty M.Sc. in Engineering rules of 2018. Both documents, and the course list that goes with each, are on the Curriculum page.

The 2025 update to the rules governing course improvement and how improved grades are counted towards CGPA. Supersedes the corresponding section of the 2023 handbook.
Letter from the Office of the Dean to the Controller of Examinations confirming that the Faculty of Engineering and Technology sets no maximum credit limit on improvement examinations, from first year through fourth year and including courses with an F grade. Credit limits applied by other faculties therefore do not apply to students of this faculty, and form fill-up should proceed without one. A committee has been formed to write this into the faculty rules.
