A national innovation challenge run by CSEDU across two tracks, business idea presentation and project showcasing, open to students and innovators up to age 27 from universities and colleges nationwide. Teams of up to three could draw members from any discipline, and Bangladeshi students studying abroad were eligible provided one teammate was enrolled at an institution in Bangladesh. Each track awarded BDT 100,000, 80,000 and 50,000 to its top three teams, along with a two-day trip for the winning teams.

The third edition of Code Samurai, jointly organised by CSEDU and Bangladesh Japan Information Technology (BJIT) with a group of Japanese IT companies. Teams built solutions to industry-scale problems across a four-phase structure, and finalists gained access to career counselling and recruitment pathways with Japanese employers. DEFINE CODERS of SUST took the championship, with DU_PROMETHEUS and DU_DILIGENCE as first and second runners-up.

Held to mark the centenary of the University of Dhaka and fifty years of Bangladesh–Japan friendship. Computer science students from 71 public and private universities applied; fifty teams drawn from 32 universities reached the final round, where the brief was to solve Bangladeshi social problems with software. Sponsoring companies offered finalists internship placements in Japan. MOUNTAIN_DU of the University of Dhaka won, and IIT_HECKERS, also from Dhaka, placed second runner-up.

CSEDU hosted the Dhaka regional site of the International Collegiate Programming Contest, running the online preliminary round, the mock contests, and the main round for teams from across Bangladesh. Regional winners advance toward the ICPC World Finals.

The first Code Samurai, organised by CSEDU with BJIT and BJIT Academy to prepare students for the technologies reshaping industry: robotics, IoT, AI, and VR. The challenge asked teams to compute and render optimal city bus routes on a live map under constraints such as shortest travel time, fewest transfers, and traffic avoidance.
