Submit an Achievement

Tell the department what you won, published or represented. Reviewed before it goes live.

Submissions are not published automatically. The department checks the details against the reference you provide, then publishes the entry with its own shareable page. Anything that cannot be verified stays unpublished until it can be.

Before you start

Having these ready makes the difference between an entry that publishes quickly and one that comes back with questions.

Everyone's full name and batch
Name every team member as they would want to be credited, with the batch number for each. Missing names are the most common reason a submission gets held back.
The exact result
Champion, 1st runner-up, 5th place, gold medal, and so on. If your team placed and another CSEDU team placed higher, say so.
The event and who organised it
Full competition, journal or programme name, plus the organising club, university or publisher.
The date of the achievement
The date you placed or were published, not the date you are submitting.
A reference link, if there is one
A Facebook post, news article, contest standings page or DOI. This is what lets the department verify the entry, and it appears on your page as a source.
A link to a photo
Anything publicly viewable. A Google Drive file works only if sharing is set to “Anyone with the link”. Landscape photos work best. Entries without a photo still publish, but they show a generated card instead of your team.

Your submission

This goes straight to the department’s review queue. Nothing publishes automatically.

Used only if the department needs to check a detail with you. Not published.

For a team, list every member, separated by commas, as they want to be credited.

Optional. Not published.

Lead with the result. For example, “Champion, NSUCEC Cybernauts 2026 CTF”.

The date you placed or were published, not today's date.

What the event was, who organised it, how many teams competed, and what you built or did. A few sentences is plenty.

A Facebook post, news article, standings page or DOI. This is how the department verifies the entry, and it appears on your page as the source.

A public link to a photo. If you use Google Drive, set sharing to “Anyone with the link” first, otherwise it will not display. Landscape photos work best.

Optional. Corrections, context, or anything the department should know.

What happens next

  1. The department reviews it. Details are checked against your reference link.
  2. It gets published. Your achievement joins the list and gets its own page at /student-achievements/your-achievement.
  3. You can share it. That page is built for sharing, with a preview card carrying your name, result and event.
